How to Play Wanted Dead or a Wild Slot
Before you spin the reels, you need to set your total bet per spin using the controls beneath the reels and it can be anything from 0.20 up to 100. When you are happy with your bet click on the spin button to start the reels. You can also use auto play functionality to set up to 1000 spins in motion complete with stop limits.
To win a payout you need to land enough matching symbols from left to right along a payline starting from the leftmost reel. There are five high value symbols, a gun chamber, a whisky bottle, a moneybag, a bandit, and a goat’s skull. The lower value symbols are the royals 10, J, Q, K and A.
The sheriff’s badge is the wild symbol and it will substitute for all of the other symbols, except for the scatter and bonus symbols, to help you form winning combinations.
Wanted Dead or a Wild Slot Bonus Round
There are special VS symbols featuring a pair of crossed pistols. When one lands as part of a winning combination, it will expand to cover the entire reel. The symbol then shows two outlaws fighting with different multipliers and the winner’s multiplier is then applied to the entire reel before the reel turns wild. If more than one VS symbol from part of a win then the multiplier values are added together. Theoretically, a VS symbol can land on all five reels, turning the entire grid wild. The multiplier values range from x2 all the way up to x100.
The Great Train Robbery begins when at least three Train Robbery symbols land. You receive ten free spins during which all wilds that land become sticky for the duration.
The Duel at Dawn feature begins when at least three Duel symbols land. You receive 10 free spins with extra VS symbols added to the reels.
Landing at least three Dead symbols triggers the Dead Man’s Hand feature. The feature has two parts. In the first part, the aim is to collect as many wilds and multipliers as possible. It works similarly to a Hold and Spin round. Each time a wild or multiplier symbol is collected the spin counter resets back to three. The next stage of the feature is the Showdown. You receive free spins during which the number of collected wilds is applied to the grid on each spin.
In jurisdictions where it is allowed the bonus features can be purchased. The Great Train Robbery, Duel at Dawn, and Dead Man’s Hand cost 80, 200 and 400 times the stake, respectively.
