Before spinning the reels, you first need to set your total bet per spin using the slider below the reels and it can be anything from 0.20 up to 100. You then just need to click on the spin button to set the reels going. You can also use the auto play function to set up to 100 spins in motion complete with stop conditions.
In order to win payouts you need to land clusters of at least five matching symbols that touch horizontally and/or vertically on the grid. All of the game’s symbols are little aliens. There are pink, green, orange and blue aliens with two eyes and purple, red, green and yellow aliens with one eye.
The slot has a number of wild symbols, the Energoon Wild, the Gargantoon Wild, the Electric Wild and the Uncharged Wild. The first three of these can all substitute for all of the other symbols while the Electric Wild can become an Electric Wild when certain conditions are met, such as if it is next to a winning combination.

The slot features collapsing reels. This means that every time a winning cluster lands, after the payout, the symbols in the cluster are removed from the reels to allow more to fall from above and take their place. With a bit of luck, this will form another win and the process can repeat itself.
On each spin one of the lower value one eyed aliens will be selected as a ‘fluctuating’ symbol and it will be displayed in the meter in the top right. If you form a win with the chosen symbol, it will fill up the meter. If the meter is completely filled with 11 symbols, then one, two or three Electric Wilds are added to the reels. With a bit of luck, this will form more winning combinations. Any wilds that help to form a win will disappear, but if there are at least two left, then there will be a Wild Pair Explosion. If the symbols were next to each other, then all the symbols will be removed from the reels, if they were not adjacent then all symbols between the two wilds are removed.
The lower of the meters on the right-hand side is the Quantumeter. It has four levels and it is filled by creating wins with Electric Wilds. If it reaches the first level, four Energoon Wilds are added to the reels. If it reaches the second level, an extra-large 2x2 Energoon Wild is added to the reels. At the third level, it adds a 3x3 Gargantoon wild to the reels, which then splits into two 2x2 Gargantoons when it is used, and those two then split into nine single wilds when used. Finally, at the fourth level, all wins are doubled.
