How to Play Gemix
Before you spin the reels, you need to set your total bet per spin using the controls beneath the reels and it can be anything from 0.50 up to 100. When you are happy with your bet click on the spin button to start the reels. You can also use auto play functionality to set up to 100 spins in motion complete with stop limits.
To win a payout you need to land a group of at least five matching symbols horizontally and/or vertically on the grid. The game has eight standard symbols, stars, hearts, moons, flowers, octagons, squares, triangles and rectangles.
There are wild symbols that will substitute for all of the other symbols to help and complete winning combinations. The wilds change as the game progresses and this is explained below.
Gemix Slots Bonus Round
Each time that you land a winning combination, the symbols in the cluster are removed from the grid and collected. This allows more symbols to fall from above and this way, the process can repeat itself indefinitely.
The Crystal Charge feature is triggered by collecting at least 20 gems in a single spin. There are four Crystal Charge features and the ball that is spinning to the right of the grid randomly awards one of them:
- Nova Blast - Explodes a gem and destroys all the adjacent symbols.
- Crystal Warp - Selects a symbol at random and all matching symbols are transformed into other symbols.
- Light Beam - Causes a symbol to blast a ray of light horizontally and vertically, transforming the symbols into matching one.
- Chain Lightning - Sees a flash of lightning pass to opposing corners of the grid and changes all the symbols in its path to match the corners.
If you collect 40 or more gems in a spin before the Crystal Charge is triggered, the Super charge is triggered and awards a x3 multiplier.
As you play, you will travel through three worlds and there are three levels within each world. The levels are completed by matching gems on top of the patterns that you can see underneath the gems on the grid. You can also see the grid pattern to the side of the reels. With each win, there is a ‘World Bonus’ amount that increases and you collect that amount when you progress to the next world.
Each world has its own special wild bonus and they can be triggered on non-winning spins. In World One, up to ten miners’ lamp wild symbols are added to the grid. In World Two, the lollypop wild spreads across the screen. In World Three, up to 8 spell book sticky wilds are added to the grid and remain in place as long as the gem matches continue to form
Gemix Slots Jackpot
The slot offers a top payout of 1000x for landing a cluster of fifteen gold star symbols. The heart and moon can both payout up to 200x, the flower up to 100x, the octagon up to 30x, the square up to 15x, the triangle up to 10x, and the rectangle up to 7.5x.
